Comedian and After Life star Kerry Godliman is back on the road. The actor, who appeared in Kent-based drama Whitstable Pearl , is taking her new tour all about midlife, motherhood and menopause to theatres across the country. The new show, called Bandwidth, is coming to Ramsgate and Canterbury as part of a nationwide tour that also includes dates at London’s Hackney Empire and Clapham Grand.
Kerry first became a familiar face in the noughties with stints on TV shows such as Our Girl and Ricky Gervais’ comedy-drama, Derek. She teamed up with The Office creator once again when she appeared in the Netflix series After Life, which topped the streaming site’s charts and was hailed as the ‘most-watched British comedy in the world’. The 51-year-old also plays the lead role of Pearl Nolan in the mystery series Whitstable Pearl, based on the book series of the same name by Julie Wassmer, a Kent-based author.
The series is filmed in the seaside town and has featured the harbour, the yacht club, and the beach in multiple scenes. Kerry competed in the seventh series of Taskmaster alongside James Acaster, Jessica Knappett, Phil Wang and Rhod Gilbert and has appeared in the likes of Live at the Apollo and Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow. Kerry Godliman will be at the Granville Theatre in Ramsgate on Saturday, May 3.
