Crime Control Department (CCD) Gujranwala killed two dangerous robbers during two different encounters, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday. According to CCD, Crime Control Department fought dangerous suspects in two different police stations of Gujranwala. An accused was killed during the first encounter in the area of Police Station Cantt was identified as Hasnain Khalid who was killed by firing from his own accomplices.
The killed robber Hasnain was included in the IG Punjab’s list of top ten criminals and was considered a symbol of terror. The killed suspect is recorded in more than 40 cases of robbery and banditry in Gujranwala, Sialkot, Hafizabad and Gujarat. The second encounter took place in the area of Police Station Sadar Gujranwala.
The robber killed during the encounter in the area of Police Station Sadar Gujranwala was identified as Naeem Waris who was killed by firing from his own accomplices. The deceased robber Naeem Waris has a record of dozens of incidents of murder, police encounter and robbery. The remaining accused escaped taking advantage of the darkness.
Special teams of the Crime Control Department have been formed to arrest them. District Officer CCD Gujranwala said the elimination of crime from the society is the guarantee of a safe generation and a peaceful future..
