GaadiWaadi -The all-new Tata Sierra IC-engined version is expected to go on sale first later this year before the arrival of its electric counterpartTata Motors pulled the wraps off the final production version of the internal combustion engine-powered Sierra SUV at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 held in New Delhi this past January. Scheduled to arrive in showrooms later this year, the ICE-powered Sierra will later be joined by a fully electric counterpart. Visually, the SUV continues to stay faithful to the EV concept showcased earlier, retaining much of its original design language.

Tata is preparing to broaden its electric vehicle portfolio, beginning with the market launch of the Harrier EV in the coming weeks. This midsize electric SUV is anticipated to arrive ahead of the Sierra ICE, which is scheduled for a debut during the second half of 2025. Once the internal combustion version of the Sierra hits the roads, the fully electric Sierra EV is expected to follow.

The Sierra reimagines its classic roots with a new design direction that nods to the original. Its standout styling element is a black-finished roofline that merges seamlessly into a panoramic sunroof, creating a wraparound glass effect and an impression of a floating roof. The overall exterior language is shaped by bold bodywork, curvaceous surfaces and prominent haunches that lend the SUV a confident appeal.

A blacked-out D-pillar sharpens the illusion of a floating roof. Although the overall design closely mirrors the electric concept’s styling, the internal combustion version distinguishes itself through a redesigned front grille and a new set of alloy wheels.

A pronounced shoulder line gives the Tata Sierra a commanding road presence while the Sierra inscription up front reinforces its identity. Enhancing its contemporary character is a sleek LED DRL strip that sweeps across the fascia, complemented by low-set headlamps positioned beneath. A broad air dam and a rugged-looking skid plate complete the look, adding to the SUV’s assertive and future-ready appearance.
