Wounded Warrior tourney is May 19 The 16th Annual Aiken Augusta Wounded Warrior Charity Golf Classic golf tournament will be held on May 19, 2025 at Woodside Plantation Golf Course. The cost is $125 per player or $500 per foursome. The registration fee in addition to prizes, includes green fee, cart fee, Chick-fil-A lunch, beverages by Grumpy’s Sports Pub and dinner by Woodside Country Club.
Raffle prizes and Silent Auction items have been provided by many local businesses. A 50/50 raffle is also included. Sponsorships are available for Hole Sponsor sign ($150), Platinum ($2,500), Gold ($1,300), Silver ($650) and Bronze ($325).

Civic orchestra to perform concert The Aiken Civic Orchestra will perform a concert titled Johannes and Clara at 7 p.m. Friday, May 18, at George Funeral Home, 211 Park Ave.
S.W. The concert will feature the works of Johannes Brahams and Clara Schumann.

Saturday, May 10, at the Etherredge Center on the campus of USC Aiken, 471 University Parkway. The concert will feature guitarist Mak Grgic who will perform with the Aiken Symphony in the Spanish-inspired program. Tickets range from $45 to $60.
