The canonization of Blessed Carlo Acutis , which was set for April 27, 2025, has been postponed following the death of Pope Francis on Monday. This is in accordance with the “Ordo Exsequiarum Romani Pontificis” or the “Rite of Burial for Roman Pontiffs.” The Vatican has yet to announce the new date of Acutis’ canonization.
Acutis is set to become the first saint from the millennial generation after the Vatican declared that he had interceded from heaven to save two lives.
