Dr. Praeger’s Sensible Foods Inc., of Elmwood Park, NJ, is recalling 8,665 cases of its Dr.
Praeger’s California Veggie Fries (8 oz) because of an undeclared soy allergen. The recall was initiated on April 1, 2025, after the company discovered the labeling error. It is classified as a Class II recall, meaning the risk of serious health consequences is low, but temporary or reversible effects are possible for individuals with soy allergies.
The recall is ongoing, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).The affected product was distributed to stores in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Illinois, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, California, Indiana, Colorado, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, Georgia, New Jersey and Florida.Recalled Product:Dr.
