THE City Government of Victorias has acquired new solar-powered mobile power station for the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (VCDRRMO). The new solar-powered mobile power station was turned over to the VCDRRMO led by Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez during the regular flag-raising ceremony at the City Public Plaza on Monday, April 21, 2025. Benitez said this new mobile power station is equipped with foldable solar panels, satellite internet, and Bluetooth, ensuring a reliable backup power source for critical city services.
He said it will also support field operations and provide uninterrupted power during public events and natural disasters. “The provision of the mobile power station is part of the City’s ongoing efforts to improve disaster preparedness and enhance the delivery of essential services,” he added. The mayor said the turnover of the solar-powered mobile station marks a significant milestone for the city, reflecting the administration’s commitment to sustainability, disaster preparedness, and public safety.
