Vital documents detailing the company accounts for a multi-billion-pound firm registered to a terrace house in Bolton have disappeared from government agency Companies House's website. The update comes a month after Bolton West MP Phil Brickell raised concerns after several businesses worth a combined total of billions of pounds have their registered address as a terraced house in Chorley Old Road. There are four active businesses registered at the Chorley Old Road address, as stated on Companies House.
Eight companies, now dissolved , have also been registered to the address since 2014. The full accounts for one of the active companies, named 1 Stallion Limited, have been notably removed from the Companies House site. The documents, which were previously seen by The Bolton News , detailed the company’s turnover to be £12.

When contacted by The Bolton News the auditor claimed that they did not recognise the name of 1 Stallion and denied having any involvement in auditing the company. The website for 1 Stallion Limited, previously listed as under construction, also appears to have been removed.
A second company named Avantulo SA Ltd, also registered to the terraced house on Chorley Old Road, filed accounts claiming a £26m of turnover and a £12.5m share capital in 2023. The firms are registered to an address on Chorley Old Road.

Registered to the same address was a third company, a banking business, by the name of "E-bank Ltd" which claimed to make a £957m turnover in 2022 and is also listed as under an "active proposal to strike off". It is unclear whether the accounts documents have been removed by Companies House.
The agency says it does not comment on individual cases. When approached by The Bolton News about the removal of the documents from their website, a spokesperson from Companies House said: “We take fraud against the register seriously and all allegations are fully investigated. “Since March 2024, we have been using our new powers to crack down on the misuse of the register by querying information provided by companies.
“Where incorrect, suspicious, or fraudulent filings are made, we will take appropriate action. "We proactively share information with other relevant government agencies and law enforcement. “We are developing systems and processes to enable more checks to determine the accuracy of information delivered to us before it is placed on the register.
