Work is set to begin on the beloved eatery this June.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and soon it can be every meal of the day for Aubrey. Work is set to begin on a new Denton Waffle House location this summer. The beloved cult-classic restaurant will be a new construction located at 26790 East University Drive.

The onset of the project is right around the corner; according to paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, work will begin on June 1 of this year. The Waffle House should be completed by December 1, suggesting the restaurant will open either late in 2025 or early in 2026. The eatery will have a dedicated 1,840 square feet to serve up its all-day breakfasts.

Waffle House is well known for its commitment to southern breakfast favorites, and for being open a highly accommodating 24 hours daily. The restaurant has been a beloved mainstay in the hospitality scene since it opened its first location in Georgia in 1955. The chain has spread to include more than 1,900 storefronts across 25 states.
