Splash into summer, folks — the Taylor Street Park Sprayground is gearing up to drench you in fun starting this Saturday. According to an announcement by the City of Wake Forest, the popular water feature located at 416 N. Taylor St.

, is opening for the 2025 season on April 19 at 10 a.m., providing a free and wet escape for kids and families who are ready to shake off the shackles of winter.



Clear your calendars for post-school fun or sunny weekends, because the sprayground is setting its schedule to accommodate just about everybody. From Sunday to Friday, you can pop by from 4 p.m.

to 8 p.m., while Saturdays offer an extended playtime from 10 a.

m. straight through to 8 p.m.

, ensuring ample time to get good and soaked. And don't worry, on Memorial Day (that's Monday, May 26 for those who haven't updated their calendars), according to the City of Wake Forest announcement, the sprayground will be open from 10 a.m.

until 8 p.m. too.
