After the Warriors' difficult, grinding win over the Rockets back in San Francisco on Monday night, coach Steve Kerr was more than happy to talk about two of the players who helped carry the 109-106 victory. Because, for a change, one of them was not Stephen Curry. It seems Curry, after lugging the Warriors to a victory with 36 points in Game 3, was due for an off night in Game 4.
He had 16 points on 6-for-13 shooting. But in his stead, Brandin Podziemski and Jimmy Butler (who missed Game 4 with a pelvic contusion) picked up the slack. Podziemski, an underrated player in the Dubs rotation, had 26 points on 9-for-18 shooting, making six of his 11 3-point tries.
Butler had 27 points on 7-for-12 shooting, making all 12 of his free throws. "Both guys were amazing. Brandin is big-time.
Second-year player, but plays like a 10th-year guy. Got so much poise and confidence. He was obviously a key to everything," Kerr said.

It was just an incredible performance by our guys against a great team that gave us everything we could handle tonight.
"The good news for the Warriors is that they're rolling out the same starting five back in Houston for Game 5, as the team posted on its official Twitter/X account on Wednesday. Squad is set pic.twitter.
