A carpet python found what proved to be a short-lived refuge behind a fruit bowl on a rainy day in Queensland recently. Footage by Daniel Busstra, known as Snake Catcher Dan, shows him removing the snake from the kitchen counter of a Sunshine Coast home. “Look, we did have a lot of rain, so this isn’t even my first snake of the morning,” Busstra can be heard saying in the footage.
