Kambli looked to be in a weak condition and was not able to walk without assistance.Image Credit- XVinod Kambli revealed in an interview that he had suffered heart attack a few years ago, where his wife Andrea Hewitt had taken him to hospital.

Sachin Tendulkar had paid for his treatment at the hospital that time.Image Credit- XVinod Kambli was admitted to Akruti Hospital in Thane, where he was diagnosed to have urinary infection as well as clots in his brain. He was admitted for a couple of weeks, and discharged in the first week of January.

Kambli had revealed that he got treated for his alcohol addiction for a number of times.Image Credit- XSunil Gavaskar is helping Vinod Kambli with his ‘Champs Foundation’, which is going to pay him Rs.

30,000 per month. Kambli’s monthly income is now going to double, as he gets Rs. 30,000 as pension from Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Image Credit- XEarlier in time, Vinod Kambli used to have a net worth of Rs. 12 crore, but all of that has been lost due to his addiction to alcohol. Before the help from Sunil Gavaskar, Kambli’s wife Andrea and their children used to live off on the BCCI’s pension.
