2022: Moschino For her Met debut, the actor stepped into the year’s theme of ‘Gilded Glamour’ wearing a custom Moschino ensemble by Jeremy Scott. Ashley wore a high-waisted fitted skirt with a black satin opera coat, left unbuttoned, paired with an embroidered gold cropped bustier. Inspired by her Bridgerton character, the designer said, “It’s completely Simone: it’s chic, it’s regal, and it’s got this kind of silhouette that you don’t find on the red carpet that often.
” To add to the look, she opted for a diamond necklace , jewelled earrings, slicked-to-the-side hair, and bronzed makeup. 2024: Prabul Gurung In 2024, Ashley climbed the steps wearing a midnight-blue sequinned gown by Prabal Gurung in keeping with the theme of ‘Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion’. The sleek design featured cutouts at the waist and a deep V-neck.
The look was simultaneously indulgent and abstemious, with the actor steering clear of all jewellery save for a delicate bracelet. The standout element, though, was the makeup: Ashley recreated Cher ’s signature ’70s rizz with statement eyes highlighted by a bold purple eyeshadow.
