Additional state charges include hiding a corpse, identity theft, and theft of property over $10,000. Casap’s case is now drawing the attention of federal authorities as they pursue further charges related to conspiracy, attempted presidential assassination, and the use of weapons of mass destruction.

A search warrant executed after his arrest led the Federal Bureau of Investigation to disturbing material on his electronic devices. According to federal affidavits, Casap was actively communicating with others about a plan to assassinate President Donald Trump and overthrow the US government to "save the white races from Jewish controlled politicians.
” His phone reportedly contained content linked to the neo-Nazi extremist group "The Order of Nine Angles," and documents described by the FBI called for a violent revolution. Investigators say the teen also helped purchase a drone and explosives as part of a plan to construct a weapon of mass destruction. One of the documents reviewed by federal officials included images of Adolf Hitler and the phrases: “HAIL HITLER HAIL THE WHITE RACE HAIL VICTORY.
” The writings also outlined Casap’s motive, stating he killed his parents to gain “financial means and autonomy” to carry out his plan. Authorities also noted that other individuals appeared to have known about Casap’s intentions and may have assisted him in preparing for the attack. Casap appeared in court for a preliminary hearing on April 9 and remains in custody on a $1 million bond and is scheduled to appear in court again on May 7 for arraignment.
