In the same video, Suryavanshi tells the interviewer 'I'll turn 15 on September 27th.' This means he could be currently 16 going on 17 - and there is further confusion given his listed birth date is March 27 in 2011. So until Suryavanshi's age is clarified, the uncertainty will remain.

Speaking on Cricbuzz, the former opener said: 'I have seen many players who come, get fame from one or two matches, then they do not do anything, because they think that they have become a star player,' he said of the schoolboy. 'Look at Virat Kohli.
