Over the weekend, a bevy of former Mizzou football players received opportunities in the NFL. That included those who finished their MU careers with the Tigers and those who ended college somewhere else. On Sunday, Kristian Williams signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent.

Following three seasons at Oregon, Williams became an integral part of MU's defensive line. That included being named a team captain prior to the 2024 season. He registered 13 tackles for loss in three seasons with the Tigers and three forced fumbles.

He'll be joining a pair of former teammates in Johnny Walker Jr., who also signed with Denver as a UDFA, and Kris Abrams-Draine, who the Broncos selected in the fifth round of last year's NFL Draft. A few former Tigers also received camp invites.

Former offensive lineman Cam'Ron Johnson received an invite from the Cleveland Browns, and former long snapper Trey Flint received an invite from the Kansas City Chiefs. A trio of players who started, but didn't finish their careers at MU also got chances in the NFL. Wide receiver Dominic Lovett, a high school teammate of Luther Burden III's who led Mizzou in receiving in 2022, was taken No.

244 overall by the Detroit Lions. The other two, like Johnson and Flint, received camp invites. Quarterback Connor Bazelak, who starred at Bowling Green following stops at Mizzou and Indiana, got a camp offer from the Chiefs.

Running back Elijah Young, who led Western Kentucky in rushing over the past two seasons following three seasons at MU, received a camp invite from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers..
