October 31, 1931 - March 19, 2025 Winnifred A. Bivens, age 93, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2025, in Albany, Oregon. She was born on October 31, 1931, in Albany Oregon, to Kenneth Bellows and Eva Kyburz.
Winnie graduated from Albany Union High school in 1949. She married William D. Bivens in 1950.
She later went to earn her degree in accounting, where she worked for Winston Spivey, CPA until she retired. Winnie was well known in the Albany business community where she worked as a bookkeeper for many clients during that time. Winnie had a great passion for flowers and gardening.
Her yard was always so beautiful and cared for! She had a very loving home for her family, her grandchildren, and her great grandchildren who always loved spending their time with Grandma Winnie. Winnie loved camping and being outdoors. Winnie and Bill would take their children camping with friends and family, which included water skiing and motorcycle riding! She is survived by children, Kenneth Bivens and Terry Bivens (Dani); her grandchildren, Jennifer Randol (Ryan); Meghan Becker (Mark); Emily Downey; Kyle Bivens (Laura); and her 6 great-grandchildren; Owen, Molly, Lucy, Allie, Abbie, Blake, and Easton.
She is also survived by her sisters, Marie Chartraw and Nadine Gindhart. Winnie was preceded in death by her husband, William D Bivens, her parents Kenneth Bellows and Eva Kyburz. Only a small graveside service was performed for immediate family on March 25th , 2025, per her request.
