The National Weather Service is forecasting another wallop of winter weather for central and southwest Montana through midnight Thursday. The NWS is calling for up to 5 inches of snow in some places and winds as high as 45 mph. Plan on slippery road conditions.

Areas of blowing snow could reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes. Heaviest snowfall rates are expected between midnight and 6 a.
