Woman falls to death from 11th floor of condo

GEORGE TOWN: A 20-year-old woman is believed to have fallen to her death at a condominium in Tanjung Tokong here this afternoon.The northeast district police received information from the public about 4.05pm.

District police chief Assistant Commissioner Abdul Rozak Muhammad said initial investigation at the scene found that a 20-year-old local female was discovered dead at the ground level of the condominium. "It is believed that the woman had fallen from her residence on the 11th floor of the same building."Investigation at the scene found no criminal elements involved," he said this evening.



Rozak said the body has been sent to the Forensic Department at Penang Hospital for a post-mortem. The case has been classified as a sudden death, and a Sudden Death Report (SDR) has been opened for further investigation.© New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd.
