Woman killed in crash with tractor in central North Dakota

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the 67-year-old was killed when the truck she was driving crossed into the opposite lane of traffic.

McCLUSKY, N.D. — A North Dakota woman was killed Tuesday, April 15, in a crash involving a tractor in the central portion of the state.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the 67-year-old woman was driving a 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 westbound on North Dakota Highway 200, east of McClusky, when the vehicle crossed over to the eastbound lane. The truck struck a Case Tractor being driven by a 22-year-old man from Denhoff, N.D.



ADVERTISEMENT The woman died at the scene while the driver of the tractor was uninjured, the Highway Patrol said. The highway was closed for roughly four hours, the patrol said. McClusky Fire and EMS, Goodrich Fire and EMS, and the Sheridan and Wells county sheriff's offices also responded to the crash.

The crash is still under investigation, though a release from the Highway Patrol said the tractor driver does not face charges. McClusky is located in Sheridan County, roughly 65 miles northeast of Bismarck..
