Where did the terrorists come from?
The terrorists reached the spot through the dense pine forests. According to the information, it is believed that the terrorists came via Kishtwar and then reached Byasaran in South Kashmir via Kokernag. According to some people, there were five terrorists at the spot.

How did the attack happen?
According to the initial information, terrorists came through the jungle at 3 pm on Tuesday and started asking for identity cards from the tourists. They came to know the religion of the tourists from the identity cards. It is being told that the terrorists started shooting the tourists who were Hindus. However, some foreigners are also among the dead. Local shopkeepers and tourists saved their lives by hiding behind the trees.

Who took responsibility for the attack?
The Resistance Front (TRF), a terrorist organization, has taken responsibility for the attack. TRF is an affiliate of the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. Sheikh Sajjad Gul, who is based in Pakistan, is the head of TRF. The story of TRF begins with the Pulwama attack on 14 February 2019. It is said that even before this attack, this terrorist organization had started spreading its feet inside the valley. More than 85 thousand domiciles have been issued recently in Jammu and Kashmir. TRF is inciting people by saying that these domiciles have been provided to outsiders, not local people.

Where did the terrorists go after the attack?
The place where the attack took place can be reached only by foot or mules. By the time the security forces reached the spot, the terrorists killed several tourists and fled towards the hills. There is no information yet about their being killed or caught.

How did the rescue operation go?
As soon as the information about the incident was received, the security forces left for the spot. At the same time, helicopters were sent to evacuate the injured. Meanwhile, the local people started evacuating the injured with the help of mules. Local tourist guides and mule drivers, with the help of local people, brought some injured people on their shoulders to the main road.

On 14 February 2019, a suicide terrorist attack took place on a CRPF convoy in Pulwama, South Kashmir. 40 soldiers were martyred in this. At the same time, in the year 2000, more than 30 people were killed in an attack on the base camp of Amarnath Yatra in Pahalgam.
