The All India Students’ Federation (AISF) Vijayawada has demanded legal action against both the actors for endorsing Sri Chaitanya institution. The federation claimed that such promotions mislead parents who end up paying hefty amounts to enroll their children to these institutions. Claims such as no other student other than those enrolled in Sri Chaitanya get good ranks and are being offered good education raises questions on the authenticity of the advertisement, and the actors have also promoted the institutions without verifying the same,” the federation lamented. “The actors did not even verify whether the students featured in the advertisements were actually enrolled in the same institution or even secured the proposed ranks,” they added. Earlier, actor Mahesh Babu was also summoned by the Enforcement Department (ED) for featuring in an advertisement promoting the Sai Surya Developers and Surana Group.
The notices were issued to the actor following ED raids on the builder’s offices in a money laundering probe.
