Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Condemning the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, Tamil actor Ajith Kumar said while in New Delhi to receive his Padma Bhushan Award “feels sorry” –in an understatement– for the victims. Ajith told news agency ANI, “My feelings are with the victims and there is need of empathy and peace among humanity,” Ajith's Call for Compassion and Unity Ajith expressed his deepest condolences to the families of victims of the Pahalgam attack. He declared, "I wish, hope and pray that such things don’t occur and my heart goes out to all the families.
I am sure the Government is doing the best that they can. Let’s just keep our fingers crossed, pray that, somewhere over a period of time, we all learn to appreciate each other’s differences and then try to put all our differences aside and live as a peaceful society.” Tribute to Armed Forces Ajith gives sincere tribute to India’s military services as well.
While in Delhi, he met a number of armed forces and remarked, “I want to let them all know that we salute them for their sacrifices. They work very hard so that we are able to sleep peacefully. My heart goes out to them.
I wish to them as well as their family a beautiful life.” As a statement, Ajith encouraged citizens to unite as a mark of respect to guards as well: "At least in their honour, we should respect each other, and every religion, every caste, not fight in ourselves in India. Let us be one peaceful society.
” Date of the Pahalgam Attack In the scenic Baisaran meadow in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir, the Pahalgam attack occurred on April 22. The assault unfortunately claimed the lives of 26 people, 25 of whom were Indians and the other a Nepalese national, escalating the attack to one of the most severe after the Pulwama attack in 2019. Many other people also got hurt during the attack.
