The day is also listed as a holiday for most states in the Reserve Bank of India’s annual holiday calendar.According to the RBI’s holiday calendar, apart from Ambedkar Jayanti, other occasions on April 14 include Vishu, Biju, Buisu, Maha Vishuva Sankranti, Tamil New Year's Day, Bohag Bihu, and Cheiraoba.
