The artwork is on a black canvas and Trump’s face is covered in the Stars and Stripes.Trump has a steely look, which is similar to his glare in the picture taken ahead of the inauguration. But, the painting has been hung near Melania Trump’s offices.
And, visitors on the official White House tour will pass the painting on their route.Jimmy Patronis, who represents Florida’s first congressional district, described the painting as “awesome” in an X post.In another post, he said the painting “made the room feel great.
”And, he called for the Clinton portrait to be taken down. But, scores of viewers noted that the painting is in between portraits of Bush and Clinton.“Is there a reason why HRC’s portrait is on the right of it?” one asked.
Some claimed that the congressman’s image was “photoshopped” but this theory appears to have been debunked. Kelly Loeffler, the administrator of the Small Business Administration, had her picture taken in front of the display. In a photo shared on X, she was seen beaming as she crouched behind two little girls who were holding a book.
The display was spotted just weeks after the White House gushed about another Trump portrait. They shared a video that showed people passing in front of the picture of Trump that was taken after he survived the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania. In the photo, Trump is surrounded by his Secret Service team and he is raising his first.
Blood is dripping from his ear and the American flag can be seen in the background. It is inspired by the picture taken by Evan Vucci, the Associated Press photographer.CONTROVERSIAL PORTRAITSSome of Trump’s portraits have proved controversial, however.
Trump crticized the artist behind a picture of him that hung inside the Colorado state capitol. In a Truth Social rant, he claimed the artist Sarah Boardman lost her talent as she aged.He claimed the artwork had been distorted.
“In any event, I would much prefer not having a picture than having this one, but many people from Colorado have called and written to complain,” he said.Boardman defended herself, saying she wanted to depict Trump as a “non-confrontational” politician.“In five, 10, 15, 20 years, he will be another president on the wall who is only historical background and he needs to look neutral,” she said at the time.
