The Minnesota Timberwolves overcame a 10-point first-quarter deficit and an 11-point third quarter deficit on Sunday to pull off a 116-113 win over the Los Angeles Lakers and put the team on the brink of elimination in their first-round NBA playoff series.Star shooting guard Anthony Edwards put up a game-high 43 points along with nine rebounds and six assists to pave the way for Minnesota’s third win of the series. The 23-year-old stole the show on the court, but he turned just as many heads with what he did after the game was over.
Once the final whistle blew, video shows Edwards getting into a verbal altercation with a few members of the Lakers’ bench. “They can’t say nothing back. Their own coach didn’t want em out there lol,” remarked another user.Though the Timberwolves lost Game 2 94-85, they’ve dominated Games 1 (117-95) and 3 (116-104) before pulling out a close victory in Game 4.
