Area Baseball: Lochner leads Pierz past WDC

PIERZ — Sawyer Lochner went 3-4 with a double, home run, seven RBIs and three runs to power the Pierz Pioneers past the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines 15-5 Monday, April 21.Preston Saeher went 2-3 with three RBIs and also pitched the victory. He allowed five earned runs on 10 hits and one walk.

He struck out four over five innings.Bo Woitalla was 1-4 with two RBIs and two runs. Grady Young was 2-3 with two runs and Brayden Haberman scored three times thanks to three walks.
