Based on a new platform, the 35 series electric scooter line-up consists of three variants: 3501, 3502, and 3503.
However, at the time of launch, only the prices of the top-spec 3501 and mid-spec 3502 were announced. In the latest development, the Indian two-wheeler manufacturer has launched the entry-level 3503 variant of the Chetak 35 series, which will set you back Rs. 1.
10 lakh (ex-showroom).For reference, the top-of-the-line Bajaj Chetak 3501 is priced at Rs. 1.
30 lakh (ex-showroom), while the mid-spec 3502 variant is priced at 1.22 lakh (ex-showroom). This makes the newly introduced 3503 variants a good Rs.
20,000 more affordable than the range-topping Chetak 3501.With affordability as its keynote, the new Chetak 3503 does miss out on a lot of features and equipment as compared to the other variant. But, it still gets some important features like a colour LCD instrument console, hill hold assist, smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth, music control, call management and more.
In addition to this, the base-spec Chetak also comes with ride modes i.e. Eco and Sports along with LED headlights.

On the other hand, being a part of the new 35 series, the new electric scooter gets the new chassis with 35 litres of under-seat storage and Chetak’s metal body is also a part of the package.Talking about the powertrain setup, the new Bajaj Chetak 3503 is powered by the familiar 3.
5 kWh battery pack, shared with the 3501 and 3502 variants. In order to differentiate it from the other two trims, the 3503 comes with lower performance numbers and the top speed is limited to 63 kmph. This has resulted in a slightly better claimed range of 155 kilometres on a single charge cycle.

It goes up against the likes of affordable electric scooters in the Indian market such as Ola S1X+, Ather Rizta S and TVS iQube 3.4 kWh amongst others. The bookings of the new Chetak 3503 have already commenced and the deliveries are expected to start from the first week of May.
