Bengaluru Metro Phase 3 in limbo, no civil work tenders eight months after Centre’s approval

The Union government cleared two corridors (44.6 km) of Phase 3 in August 2024, but the project faces delays as the Karnataka government pushes for the incorporation of double-decker flyovers. BMRCL is yet to float civil work tenders due to a lack of funding for the revised design.
