The Berlinale has announced that its 76th edition will take place from February 12 to 22, 2026, confirming dates that were widely expected by the film industry. The 2026 edition will see Tricia Tuttle return as the festival’s director after a successful inaugural first year at the helm. “After the great success of this year’s anniversary edition, we are now starting to plan for 2026.
We look forward to once again celebrating cinema with the film industry and audiences and to being a platform for the global film industry,” said Tuttle The festival also confirmed dates for its professional and industry activities. The European Film Market (EFM) will run Feb. 11-18; the Berlinale Co-Production Market, Feb.
14-17; Berlinale Talents, Feb. 13-18, and the World Cinema Fund Day on Feb 17. Watch on Deadline All the professional events will once again take place under the banner of Berlinale Pro, headed by Tanja Meissner, who is also director of the EFM .
