Former New England Patriots coach and six-time Super Bowl champion Bill Belichick sat down for a conversation on “ CBS Sunday Morning ” about his football career, his new book “The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football,” and his thoughts on quarterback Tom Brady. But when host Tony Dokoupil asked how he met his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson , things got a little awkward. “We’re not talking about this,” Hudson said off-camera at the producer’s table.

In voiceover, Dokoupil explained to listeners: “It’s a topic neither of them is comfortable commenting on.” Following the viral interview, NBC Sports reported that Hudson interrupted the interview multiple times, saying: “While we don’t know the total number of interruptions, it’s our understanding that CBS decided to include that one specific instance because it wasn’t a one-time thing.” According to TMZ, the two met on a flight in February 2021, when Belichick was in a 16-year relationship with Linda Holliday.

Hudson has clearly taken an active part in Belichick’s life, with her role in his head coaching job at UNC. According to a series of leaked emails, she identified herself as the “chief operating officer of Belichick Productions,” as reported by NBC Sports , along with being sensitive to any criticisms against Belichick. In his CBS interview, Belichick also dodged a question about Instagram photos that Hudson had shared in October 2024 featuring her in a mermaid outfit.

Most recently, Belichick joined “Inside the NFL” Season 2 on The CW, appearing alongside Ryan Clark, Chad Johnson and Chris Long to discuss football every week of the NFL season through the Super Bowl. Watch the full interview below..
