Boys golf: Holy Family captures Litchfield Invite title

Fire shoot a 309 to win by 20 strokes; Litchfield finishes 5th, Benson 11th

LITCHFIELD — The Holy Family Catholic boys golf team won the Litchfield Invitational on Monday at Litchfield Golf Club.Holy Family shot a 309, 20 strokes better than second-place Delano. Litchfield was fifth at 342 and Benson took 11th in the 14-team tournament with a 370.

Medalist honors went to Delano’s Kellen Danielson, who carded a 73. Litchfield’s Carstan Milender tied for fifth with a 79.Benson’s top scorer was Connor Larson, who tied for 23rd with an 86.
