Uncanny: Fear Of The Dark, a live production exploring the paranormal, will be showing at the Darlington Hippodrome in February 2026. The show is the second of its kind, following on from I Know What I Saw, which was one of the best-selling paranormal shows in theatre history. The production promises to keep audiences on the edge of their seats with 'thrillingly terrifying, real-life stories' and witness accounts.
The performance will combine storytelling and paranormal investigation on stage, enhanced by spine-tingling sound design, video projections, and theatrical magic. Danny Robins will lead the exploration of hauntings, apparitions, poltergeists, UFOs, and other seemingly inexplicable events, helped by expert psychologist Dr Ciarán O’Keeffe and writer and parapsychologist Evelyn Hollow. The show is open to everyone, whether they are believers, sceptics, or somewhere in between. Uncanny: Fear of the Dark is the brainchild of Danny Robins, creator of the BBC Radio 4 podcasts and global hits Uncanny, The Battersea Poltergeist, and The Witch Farm, as well as the BBC TV series Uncanny and the West End play 2:22 – A Ghost Story. Mr Robins said: "Taking Uncanny on the road and meeting thousands of fans over the last two years has been thrilling for me, so it’s great to be hitting the road again.
"If you love ghost stories and want to try and make sense of these strange mysteries, we can promise you a fun, thought-provoking, scare-filled night out." Uncanny: Fear Of The Dark will be at Darlington Hippodrome on Sunday, February 8, 2026. For more information or to book tickets, visit www.
