The rivalry that many WNBA fans have talked about features Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark. However, that’s not the rivalry that struck a nerve across the league last season.The focus was once on Chennedy Carter and Clark.

The Sky and Fever played a tight game on June 1, 2024, which the Fever won 71-70. During the game, Carter knocked Clark hard to the floor and was issued a flagrant foul.With WNBA training camps starting this weekend, Carter, who was without a team, has signed with Adelitas de Chihuahua of the Mexican Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional Femenil (LNBPF).
