Carnival in Bermuda has launched its 2025 Kiddies Costume Design Competition, inviting youth aged 8–16 to submit original designs under the theme “Carnival Through My Eyes.” A spokesperson said, “Carnival in Bermuda is thrilled to announce the launch of its 2025 Kiddies Costume Design Competition, giving Bermuda’s youth the exciting opportunity to showcase their creativity and imagination. Under the inspiring theme “Carnival Through My Eyes,” the competition invites children and teens ages 8 to 16 to submit original costume design concepts that reflect their personal vision of Carnival.
“This vibrant competition is designed to encourage youth participation in the cultural and artistic elements of Carnival, giving them a platform to express themselves while contributing to the evolving story of Bermuda’s national celebration. “We are also excited to share that Bermudian Carnival Costume Designer Barbie Paynter will serve as mentor to the participants, helping to guide and inspire finalists as their concepts are brought to life.” Submission Guidelines: “We are excited to see Carnival through the eyes of our next generation.
