Qatar tribune Chaired by HE Mohammed bin Ali Al Athba, the Central Municipal Council held its 34th meeting of the seventh session on Tuesday. The meeting reviewed its agenda, with a key item being a coordination session with Eng Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Meer, president of the Public Works Authority (Ashghal), and several other senior officials. The session aimed to gain insights into current and upcoming infrastructure projects across various regions.
Eng Al Meer expressed his appreciation for the Council’s role in relaying citizens’ needs and requests regarding project completion in their areas. He reaffirmed Ashghal’s commitment to engaging with feedback and responding to members’ requests in a manner that supports service improvement and infrastructure development. Ashghal officials provided a comprehensive presentation on ongoing projects and those planned for the near future.
The meeting saw active participation from Council members, who raised various questions and observations, which were addressed directly by the Authority’s representatives. Al Athba praised Ashghal’s vital role in delivering national projects that elevate the quality of life and fulfil the aspirations of citizens. He emphasised that the Council’s collaboration with Ashghal exemplifies effective communication and transparency in the pursuit of shared development goals.
