The actress, who recently left Mumbai and moved to Bikaner with her daughter Ziana, has shared a vlog in which she is seen expressing her joy over finally being a home-owner, calling it a ‘dream come true’. In her latest vlog, she emphasized that marriage should not be the ultimate goal for women. Instead, she encouraged prioritizing financial independence and career development, stating that these can provide stability during challenging times.
Charu Asopa ’s recent vlog shows her and Ziana visiting a temple to seek blessings and offer gratitude after the registry of the new home in Bikaner. Post that, the actress addressed her followers, and explained that she purchased the house through a loan. Charu expressed her relief over no longer having to pay monthly rent.
She mentioned that the amount she used to spend on rent will now go toward her EMI instead. She also pointed out that she is ‘not answerable to anyone’ and can decorate her house as she pleases. She further added, “I’m very overwhelmed right now because this is a dream every person has.
And I feel that instead of telling every girl that her ultimate goal is marriage, we should be telling them that being financially independent and career-wise independent- that should be the ultimate goal, not marriage." She pointed out that marriage isn’t necessarily bad, but women must prioritize their financial independence first. “Shaadi is a part of your life, shaadi ek buri cheez nahi hai.

While she did not mention Rajeev’s name, she challenged the accusation, and asked him to name this friend. Charu Asopa married Sushmita Sen’s brother Rajeev Sen in 2019. They welcomed their daughter Ziana in 2021.
