In a recent interview, the actor mentioned that even though people are “amazed and impressed" with his cop avatar now, he was unsure if crime was his genre.
However, Parth also stated that it is a “blessing" to be a part of the show like CID. “I wouldn’t say that it is something I was looking for because it is not my genre. I have always done rom-com, romantic drama, intense drama, or intense romance.

The actor was speaking to Hindustan Times when he said, “Initially, I rejected the role of ACP Pradyuman, because I don’t relate to it. But the makers asked me to reconsider. I was also hesitant due to the show’s long-standing cast and the fact that they’d have to address me as ‘sir’ on screen.
It felt a bit unusual and awkward.".
