Punters can get their hands on cheap drinks and speciality cocktails as part of an 11-day event in the county town . This year’s Maidstone Cocktail Week, which returns for a third time this spring, will see a number of pubs and bars in and around Maidstone participate in the offer. All you need to do is pick up a wristband, which costs £10 and can be purchased here .
Wristband-wearers can then enjoy cocktails for as little as £5 in participating venues. All boozers taking part will also be offering at least one limited-edition speciality cocktail during the event. Each venue will have its own unique drink, with some of the tipples on offer set to include a rhubarb and berry spritz, a spiced mango vodka and a Thai-style bellini.
This year, pubs such as the Skull Bar, the King’s Head, The Ashes and The Herbalist are all joining the festivities. Several bars and clubs, including the Beach Bar, Mu Mu and Junipers, as well as a handful of restaurants, such as Giggling Squid and Buenos Aires Nights, are also taking part. Maidstone Cocktail Week takes place from Thursday, May 1 to Sunday, May 11.
There will also be a Medway Cocktail Week in August, followed by Canterbury Cocktail Week in October..
