No actor does awards season dressing quite like Colman Domingo . The 55-year-old film and TV star, who has been nominated for nearly every major award, including Best Actor at the Oscars for two consecutive years – doesn’t do half measures on the red carpet (special shout out to his stylists Wayman and Micah , the duo behind some of the best dressed stars in Hollywood). Beyond the marquee awards shows, actors are sometimes inclined to phone it in, sartorially speaking – especially when there are just so many to get through.
But not Domingo. From silken Versace to exquisitely tailored Valentino and effervescent Dolce & Gabbana , the actor skews big and bold, with plenty of flourishes. Even when he does opt for a traditional tuxedo, he tends to make it his own with unexpected accessories, embellishing his suit jackets with brooches, layered necklaces and dazzlingly sparkly rings.
