VEHARI - Additional Sessions Judge Muhammad Akhtar Bhatti has acquitted accused Ejaz, son of Falak Sher, in a high-profile narcotics case registered at Luddan Police Station. The court declared him innocent due to lack of evidence and false allegations. The verdict was announced after the court was convinced by the strong arguments presented by renowned legal expert Advocate Muhammad Arshad Khan.

The accused had been charged by police with possessing 1.8 kilograms of narcotics. However, the court found the evidence presented by the police to be weak, unsubstantiated, and unreliable.

Following the judgment, serious questions have been raised about police performance by legal, social, and civil society circles. Citizens expressed concern, stating that if such a large quantity of drugs can be falsely planted on an innocent person, the safety of the general public is at great risk. 48 couples tie knot in Faisalabad Tags: court acquits accused.
