The West Haymarket Joint Public Agency, which oversees the arena and related redevelopment of the West Haymarket, on Tuesday approved a purchase and installation contract with Five Nines, the current operator of the system. The WiFi in the arena has been "unreliable" for years and with the purchase of a new scoreboard, it seemed best to also upgrade the WiFi system , said Chief Assistant City Attorney Chris Connolly. The exchange is meant to be an opportunity to share development and business strategies between the two capital cities.
City swaps are intended to offer city and business leaders the chance to build connections and learn from each other. The Lincoln delegation will visit Topeka on June 17 and 18 then Topeka will visit Lincoln on July 30 and 31. During this year’s visit to Topeka, the chamber will visit Topeka’s zoo and library.
Other parts of the schedule focus on Topeka’s downtown development. Raiola joins Adidas Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola is officially part of the Adidas family — joining the elite roster of top athletes. Since Adidas is Nebraska's apparel sponsor, Raiola can continue repping the gear he's worn since arriving on campus.
As a freshman, Raiola totaled 2,819 yards passing in his 13 games played — setting a freshman program record for passing yards Adidas vice president of sports marketing Chris McGuire said in a statement that Raiola is "one of the most promising young quarterbacks in the country."
