Vehari - A meeting regarding the anti-polio campaign was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Vehari Imrana Tauqeer. The meeting reviewed the performance of the campaign on its first day. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Health Dr Fahad Waheed briefed the participants on the progress and target achievements of the campaign.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the health authorities to ensure 100 percent coverage during the campaign, emphasizing that no child under the age of five should be left unvaccinated. She stated that the complete eradication of polio remains a top priority for the district administration. Imrana Tauqeer also praised the dedication of polio workers, calling them national heroes for their efforts to protect the future of the nation.



She instructed Assistant Commissioners to actively coordinate in the field to further improve the effectiveness of the campaign.District Surveillance Officer for WHO, Dr. Ehsan Ahmed, appreciated the performance of the campaign on its first day.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Ghazala Kanwal, CEO Health Dr. Fahad Waheed, District Health Officer Dr. Muhammad Fazil, Deputy Director Information Mian Naeem Asim, WHO District Surveillance Officer Dr.
