VEHARI - District Police Officer (DPO) Vehari, Muhammad Afzal, paid a visit to the Patrolling Police Post at Mana Mor and conducted a detailed inspection. During the visit, he thoroughly reviewed the performance of the patrolling force, staff deployment, condition of vehicles, weapons, records, and security arrangements. DPO Muhammad Afzal interacted individually with the officers and inquired about their duties.
He issued instructions to further strengthen the patrolling system, ensure the suppression of criminal elements, and maintain law and order on highways.The DPO emphasized that the role of patrolling police is crucial in preventing crimes on highways, and no negligence or carelessness in patrolling duties would be tolerated. He directed strict monitoring of suspicious persons and vehicles and ordered immediate and effective action against criminals.
DPO Vehari also reviewed the attendance, uniform condition, and professional conduct of the deployed staff. He stressed the importance of polite behavior with the public and immediate redressal of citizens’ complaints. He added that the purpose of the patrolling police is not only to prevent crime but also to create a sense of security among the people.
