Easterlies to bring cloudy skies, rain over PH

The easterlies will continue to persist around the country in the next 24 hours, PAGASA said Sunday afternoon. In its 5 p.m.

weather forecast, the state weather bureau said Davao Oriental, Davao Occidental, Sarangani, Sultan Kudarat, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi will see cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms. These moderate to at times heavy rains may trigger flash floods or landslides. PAGASA also said the easterlies will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.



These severe thunderstorms will cause flash floods or landslides. State meteorologists also said winds will be light to moderate while coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the country. Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:39 a.
