Ellen Pompeo Reveals One Small Frustration She Has With 'Grey's Anatomy' Fans

Ellen Pompeo is getting in some exercise. The 55-year-old actress and her husband Chris Ivery went for a hike to the Griffith Observatory on Monday afternoon (April 21) in Los Angeles. The day before, Ellen wore a tan, monochromatic outfit as she stepped out for a coffee run.

I’m so grateful for the fans and I love them, but to be honest, when people do call me Meredith, I do get a little annoyed,” Ellen said. “I love that you love the show, but please call me by my right name,” she added. Despite her feelings, Ellen noted that she doesn’t get too upset about the name-calling because she knows how much fans love her and show.
