Emmerdale fans are sure to be left disappointed this evening as the usual Monday night airing of the popular soap opera is axed by ITV. The broadcaster has made some changes to its schedule tonight (Easter Monday) as viewers are treated to showings of Coronation Street and Celebrity Big Brother. The Manchester-based soap will air at its usual time of 8pm, while fans of the newest series of the star-studded version of Big Brother will be able to catch all the action from 9pm.

This special version of the ITV show will last from 7pm until 8pm, and be followed by Bradley & Barney Walsh: Breaking Dad.
Teasing the newest episode, the synopsis on ITVX reads: "Victoria makes a plan, Ruby suspects that Caleb is keeping secrets, and Charity catches Sarah out."
