I am writing to express my concern about the pressing issue of environmental change and degradation. Climate change is increasingly affecting living organisms, while environmental degradation continues to have devastating effects—rising temperatures, the deaths of birds, melting ice caps, and the unchecked expansion of industry all contribute to this crisis. Pollution—be it air, water, or noise—further harms our natural resources.
It weakens ecosystems, puts human health under severe stress, and contributes to serious diseases, including kidney and respiratory conditions. Moreover, overfishing is a major threat, leading to a decline in fish populations, increased food insecurity, and loss of biodiversity. Deforestation is another alarming issue.
As forests are cleared, both humans and animals lose vital resources such as food, shelter, and materials for products like perfume and furniture. The destruction of forests also increases the risk to wildlife and contributes to climate imbalance.
