Epic Games is giving away free cosmetics and a watch party for May the Fourth

The First Order Stormtrooper skin is free. All you need to do is link your Disney and Epic Games accounts. A free airing of Star Wars’ new show will also be available.

With Epic Games pumping out so many cosmetics to buy every week it can be difficult to keep up, so it is nice to get a freebie every once in a while. With Star Wars Day / May the Fourth around the corner, Fortnite players can get a Stormtrooper outfit for free in just a few clicks. “Heads-up! You can only unlock the First Order Stormtrooper Outfit by starting the process from epicgames.



com/id/login or Apps and Accounts. To unlock the Outfit, connect your eligible accounts by August 31 at 12 AM ET. The Outfit may be purchasable in the Fortnite Shop at a later date.

This outfit also comes with a LEGO style so you can continue playing as the First Order in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey. One of the leaders of the First Order, Captain Phasma, was revealed to be in the game through a short LEGO teaser video. More free stuffThe free skin isn’t all that Epic Games has announced for this latest Star Wars crossover event. On top of the previous reveals, there’s now a lot more happening. We recently reported that the animated show Tales of the Underworld would premiere on May the Fourth 2025 (see below) but we now know that this isn’t exactly true.

Instead the first two episodes of the show will be aired inside of Fortnite. Starting from 2nd May 10:00 ET, players can head to an island with code 2124-6713-8076 to watch the show with others. This will be available until 11th May so there’s a decent amount of time to see it.

On top of this free show, a loading screen featuring Asajj Ventress will be awarded within 72 hours of watching the show inside of Fortnite. Asajj Ventress is one of the two focuses of the show, alongside Cad Bane.
